Leeds United are reported to have an interest in signing Ecuador striker Felipe Caicedo this summer. As reported by Imperio, Marcelo Bielsa is said to be a fan of the player and could raid former club Lazio for his services.
The 30-year-old striker, who has previously played for Manchester City, Lokomotiv Moscow and Espanyol, has just one year left on his contract in Rome.
It was recently reported by LaLazioSiamoNoi that the Biancocelesti were ready to sell Caicedo this summer for a fee in the region of €9 million (£8 million).

They also suggested interest in his services from China and the UAE, where he previously played with Al Jazira.
Of course, Leeds fans will feel the name sounds familiar. Last summer the club were also linked with the player.
As reported by Leeds Live, some intrepid fans even felt he had been spotted outside Elland Road. A photo on Twitter of a young man bearing a resemblance to Caicedo had tongues wagging. In the end, it turned out to be a new member of the club’s media team.
So some fans are taking the news with a pinch of salt.
However, others clearly feel the bullish international could add some real quality in attack at Elland Road.
Here is how Leeds fans reacted to the latest report on Twitter…
