Some Leeds United fans react on twitter to Leif Davis exit rumour

Leif Davis is being linked with a move to the Premier League.

Leeds United left-back Leif Davis has been linked with a move to the Premier League this week. As reported by The Sun, Leeds’ talented defender is wanted by Liverpool as a potential back-up for Andrew Robertson. Bournemouth are also said to be keen, with a value of £4 million placed on the player.

Davis only joined Leeds last July from Morecambe in something of an under-the-radar deal. But his rise to the first-team has been more rapid than expected. Davis made his debut in the 3-2 win at Villa Park after injury and illness left Marcelo Bielsa short in the position.

He suffered a knee injury toward the end of the campaign, which ruled him out of the promotion hunt. If not for that injury it is likely Leeds fans would have seen plenty more of him.

Indeed, it seems that Bielsa is a fan of the player so Leeds fans on twitter are seemingly confident they will keep him.

It would certainly be a shock to see him move on after just one season whilst also considering he is so close to being a first-team regular at Elland Road.

But as Leeds have discovered down the years, the lure of Premier League football can sometimes be too strong. Here is how some fans reacted to the news on Twitter…
