Leeds United fans were happy to see Tyler Roberts back amongst the goals yesterday. The Welshman returned from his latest injury absence to score twice in the West Yorkshire side’s 4-0 win over Hull City.
His performance also caught the eye of the Sky Sports Super Six social media team. They put a montage together showing some of Roberts’ better moments in a Leeds United shirt.
The Welsh wizard’s skills on display certainly garnered a reaction from plenty of Leeds United fans. However, whilst mostly positive, plenty of Leeds fans just had one gripe with Roberts – his fitness.
The 21-year-old has been almost unbelievably unlucky with injury issues at Elland Road. Signed for a reported £4 million from West Brom in January 2018, the versatile attacker endured a rough start to life at Leeds.

Roberts cracked his shin during his first training session at the club and did not make his debut for Leeds until the following season. During that time, Leeds went through two managers and Marcelo Bielsa arrived.
Fortunately, the Argentine is a big fan of Roberts and has almost always used him when fit. This season Roberts has played just 13 times for Leeds after starting the campaign on the sidelines.
Fans are now simply hoping Roberts can get a good run of luck with injury problems for the rest of this season and have a major impact in the promotion race.
