Some Leeds fans want 6ft 3in talent to start v Watford, he'll be 'world class in a year or two'
A number of Leeds United fans have urged Marcelo Bielsa to name Pascal Struijk in the Whites starting XI against Watford today.
The 22-year-old Elland Road centre-back has completed a three-match ban after his sending-off against Liverpool.
Struijk sat out the games against Newcastle and West Ham in the Premier League, plus the Carabao Cup clash at Fulham.
Bielsa now has a choice to make at centre-back for the meeting with the Hornets at Elland Road.
Struijk, Liam Cooper, Diego Llorente and Charlie Cresswell are all available.
Some Leeds fans reckon the Dutchman should be in the XI:

If the answer to the question ‘who starts at CB on Saturday for Leeds?’ is anything but llorente and struijk… You’re wrong. #lufc— Sneakyscoffer (@SneakyScoffer) September 30, 2021

We need a win, who does he start over? I get that he deserves his chance, but I’m picking Struijk/Llorente over him every day— • (@LUFC_Llorente) September 30, 2021

Struijk has been with Leeds since 2018, when he joined the Thorp Arch ranks from the Ajax academy.
The 6ft 3in ace has progressed nicely over the years and finished last season very well.
One of his displays in 2020-21, against Manchester United, saw him receive plenty of plaudits.
“He was magnificent, tackling, heading and passing it well, hassling defenders and earning a deserved clean sheet in as cool a performance as any put together by a Leeds defender all season,” wrote the Yorkshire Evening Post at the time.
Struijk then shone in pre-season and has made five senior appearances this term, including four in the league.
