Some Leeds fans react to Raphinha transfer update
Some Leeds United fans have been reacting to the news that Liverpool haven’t made contact over a transfer for Raphinha.
According to Graham Smyth, the Merseysiders will definitely have interest in the star, however, haven’t contacted the Whites over a move.
Raphinha enjoyed a brilliant debut season in the Premier League last season. He scored eight goals and registered 11 assists across all competitions.
Speaking last season, Marcelo Bielsa heaped praise on the youngster, labelling him ‘spontaneous‘.
TBR View: Leeds hold all the cards with regards to Raphinha transfer
Having signed the winger to a long-term deal last summer, the Yorkshire outfit hold all the cards with regards to a potential transfer this summer.
The Whites are under no pressure to sell the 24-year-old. And after their superb first season back in the top-flight, there is enough ambition to convince the ace Elland Road is the place to be.
However, should Leeds opt to sell the attacker, he would fetch a handsome fee. It would make buying a replacement much easier for the club.
Raphinha’s form makes him a devastating player, and one Leeds hope they can retain this summer.
Here is how fans reacted to the update…
They better have a large cheque ready if they want him— Tony LUFC 🏆 (@Tonylufc28) June 3, 2021
He’d be mad to leave at this stage. He should look at what three seasons under Bielsa have done to players ‘not good enough for the Championship’.— Peter Cassidy (@pwcassidy) June 3, 2021

I'd say 70 mill— Micky Padge (@mickipadgett) June 3, 2021
