A number of Leeds United fans have waxed lyrical about Pascal Struijk’s display for Marcelo Bielsa’s side in the Premier League today.

The Whites hosted Chelsea at Elland Road today and picked up a point, courtesy of a 0-0 draw.

Despite it being a goalless encounter, it wasn’t through lack of attacking endeavour from either side, with 22 shots between the two teams.

Leeds had seven efforts, four on target, while the Blues mustered 15 efforts, eight on target, and both sides hit the woodwork.

The Whites back line was in great form and kept Chelsea at bay, with Illan Meslier, Luke Ayling, Diego Llorente, Struijk and Ezgjan Alioski all doing well.

With captain Liam Cooper absent, Struijk made his return to the starting line-up after injury earlier than expected, but you wouldn’t have known it given how well he played.

Here is what some Leeds fans were saying about the 21-year-old’s display against Thomas Tuchel’s side:

Up next for Leeds is Friday’s trip to Fulham.
