Everton’s wretched away form continued yesterday with a 3-1 defeat to Bournemouth on the south coast. The Toffees have now failed to win their past six games on the road and once again it was their slack defending that cost them yesterday.
It was a poor display which once again showed Everton’s shortcomings in their hopes of breaking the Premier League top six this season.
Once again, despite spending big throughout the summer, Everton still look to be short of where they want to be and fans were not impressed after yesterday’s result.
In fact, many were highly critical of manager Marco Silva.
It seems plenty of Everton fans believe that the Portuguese is the weak link in their bid to break that barrier in the Premier League.
Silva’s body language in the Everton dugout did not help his cause. Many Everton fans felt he looked defeated and out of ideas as Bournemouth took control of the game.
Everton looked leaky in defence, goal-shy in attack and their overall play was stagnated and clumsy.
Here is how some Everton fans have been reacting to their most recent away day blues.
#SilvaOut. We’re making zero progress.

Never liked Silva, gave him a chance but after today’s result Blues must see that he does not posses the right mindset , ethos, tactics or training plan. We will go nowhere near top six with him #Silvaout

#silvaout It gives me no pleasure whatsoever to say I told you so. Silava sulking in the dugout at 75 mins rather than urging his team forward says it all. Get rid now before there is maximum damage from this man.

And now it’s the time！#silvaout

What does silva actually do? Can’t motivate, make changes when needed and god knows what they do in training. #silvaout

Don’t know why i waste my time watching a Marco Silva side try and play football, I’m insane #silvaout

I now realise and much to my shame, after that disaster Marco Silva isn’t going to elevate #Everton towards a top six side. It just isn’t going to happen. Sorry Farhad, it’s another expensive dud you’ve hired. #SilvaOut #Everton

All that money and still can’t beat a poor team in Bournemouth. No chance of Europe if we can’t beat poor teams away from home. #SilvaOut

I only have two words to sum up that performance: Silva. Out. #silvaout

We will never score two goals in 20 minutes. Another embarrassing performance away to a bang average side #silvaout
