Tom Davies is set to be handed a new deal by Everton.
According to The Daily Mail, the Englishman is ready to put pen to paper on a contract that will see him commit to the club until 2023.

It’s been a tricky season for Davies at Goodison Park, with loan signing Andre Gomes having come in and taken his place in midfield alongside Idrissa Gueye.
Davies has been very much a bit-part player under Marco Silva, but the manager said last December that it would be ‘impossible’ for him to move clubs.
He may have used him sparingly, but Silva has handed Davies the captain’s armband on five occasions this season, suggesting how much he values him.
He will hope to get more game time next term, with big changes expected at the club this summer.

Both Gueye and Gomes are not guaranteed to be around for the 2019/20 season, and Morgan Schneiderlin could also move on after a lack of games.
Everton fans react
News of an impending new deal for Davies received a mixed reaction from Evertonians on social media, with some thinking the local lad still has a lot to offer, and some still not convinced:
