A number of Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the speculation linking Frank Lampard with the Selhurst Park hotseat.
According to The Telegraph, the 42-year-old is keen to resume his managerial career in the Premier League, following 18 months in charge of Chelsea.
The outlet claims that Lampard is near the top of Palace’s managerial shortlist, with the club hierarchy preparing themselves in case Roy Hodgson leaves.

The 73-year-old has been great for Palace since taking over from Frank de Boer in September 2017, leading the club to 11th, 12th and 14th-placed finishes in the Premier League.
Another mid-table season is on the cards for the Eagles this season, but with Hodgson’s contract expiring at the end of the season, it remains to be seen whether he stays.
Lampard began his managerial career at Derby County in 2018, leading the club to the Championship playoff final, before moving to Chelsea in the summer of 2019.
The 42-year-old led the Blues to fourth in the Premier League – qualifying for the Champions League – and the FA Cup final, despite a one-window transfer embargo.
