Everton are reportedly interested in Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet – but worryingly some Barca fans on Twitter claim they want to see him sold this summer.
Spanish publication Sport claims that Everton are keen on a potential swoop for Lenglet from La Liga giants Barcelona.
The report states Toffees manager Rafael Benitez is identifying the 26-year-old star as a target because he wants to strengthen his options in the heart of defence for the new campaign
Lenglet is a ball-playing defender who was part of the France squad that surprisingly underachieved at this summer’s Euro 2020 tournament.
The left-footed centre-back has been a regular during his few years at Camp Nou.

Should Everton be wary of Clement Lenglet interest?
A selection of Barcelona supporters on social media don’t mind Lenglet’s transfer exit speculation, which is quite telling.
However, their supporters, along with the Real Madrid fanbase, are notoriously tough.
Clement has more than held his own at Barcelona and played in 48 games across all competitions last season, including eight in the Champions League.
It’s also no easy task to break into the France squad, so surely he could still be a massive addition for Everton if their interest was ramped up this summer.
