‘Some baller’: Arsenal fans rave about Martin Odegaard’s Olympiakos display

Arsenal cruised to victory against Olympiakos this evening as Mikel Arteta’s men picked up a crucial first leg success against the Greeks.

Goals from Martin Odegaard, Gabriel, and then Mo Elneny were enough to seal a 3-1 win for the Gunners. It should, in theory, be more than enough to see the Premier League side advance.

The Europa League represents a huge opportunity for Mikel Arteta’s men to win some silverware and seal European football next season at the highest level. And against Olympiakos tonight, there were some fine individual performances.

One of the players to play well and catch the attention on social media was scorer of the first goal, Odegaard. The Real Madrid loanee has gradually worked his way into being a key player for the Gunners recently and was excellent tonight.

Twitter, then, was full of comments praising the Norwegian. A number of Arsenal fans pointed out just how good he’d looked of late while others lauded the class he’d brought to the starting XI.
