‘Love our vision’: Some Villa fans react as report suggests English attacker will sign new deal

Aston Villa are reportedly close to extending Louie Barry’s contract until 2024.

According to Birmingham Live, the striker will pen a new deal with the club that will see his current contract extend by one year. As per the report, a slew of youngsters will also sign new contracts with Villa.

Barry is regarded as one of the club’s best youth prospects. Last season alone saw the attacker hit 20 goals in 26 appearances at youth level.

The England youth star also scored in his only senior game for the club. Barry hit one past Liverpool in Villa’s FA Cup third-round clash with the former Premier League champion.

With the likes of Carney Chukwuemeka also coming through at the club, Villa have some extremely talented players looking to break into the first team for next season.
