Some Arsenal players are reportedly said to be privately questioning Mikel Arteta’s man-management of the club following an indifferent run of form in recent weeks.
According to the Independent, complaints have arisen for the first time amongst Arsenal players over Arteta, though the report states that the problems haven’t reached ‘Jose Mourinho at Tottenham’ bad yet, and these concerns could be down purely to poor results and a bad form this season.

The Gunners sit ninth in the Premier League table following a disastrous league campaign that has seen the club pick up one point all season against the likes of Aston Villa, Burnley and Wolves, as well as defeats and lucky draws in recent weeks against Everton and Fulham, the latter of which is almost destined for relegation down the Championship.
Arsenal still have the second-leg of the UEFA Europa League to contend with this evening, yet with their home form in awful shape and Villarreal currently boasting a 2-1 lead, it will be impressive if the Gunners manage to overturn this deficit and book their ticket in the final in Gdansk later this month.

With four games of the Premier League left to play, the Gunners can effectively call their league campaign a bust, with a European finish in the table a difficult task with teams above them flying high. Yet a spot in the Europa League final could be the boost the club need to end the season well.
Winning the Europa League will see the Gunners catapulted back into the dizzying heights of UEFA Champions League football, and if they manage to beat Villarreal this evening, there’s every chance that Arteta has what it takes to redeem what has been one of the club’s worst seasons in many a year.
