Some Arsenal fans want record-breaking Willock to be sold following latest transfer update
Arsenal midfielder is reportedly open to leaving the club this summer following a productive loan spell with Premier League side Newcastle United.
According to the Telegraph, Steve Bruce’s side are plotting a £20m move for the England youth international, who has been in sensational form for the Toon since arriving in January. Willock this week became the youngest player in Premier League history to score in six consecutive games after bagging the sole goal against Sheffield United.
Willock’s form has won the hearts of Newcastle supporters and has made the 21-year-old attacking midfielder a quick fan favourite at St. James Park.
And for Arsenal supporters on social media, some are open to selling the Hale End academy product if it means raising funds for first-team players this summer.
Here’s what some supporters had to say about this latest update on Willock on Twitter…
As much as I would love it I see what Willock would do in an Arsenal jersey after his successful loan spell… would sell him in a heartbeat to keep Ødegaard permanently

I love willock but his abilities doesn't suit Arsenals style of play… He fits perfectly with Newcastle…we should sell him in order to raise funds for a player that will suit our style… Buendia, Aouar, Odeegard etc

We should sell willock in order to fund for Jack Grealish. We can get 30-40m from selling willock nd by adding 30m+ we can get him.
We need to strengthen our starting eleven in order to fight for top4 next ssn.

Willock is not suited to Arsenal pattern of play. He thrives more in a counter attacking teams like Newcastle. I will sell him and sign Buendia all day.

Selling Willock needs to fund Grealish not Odegaard.

Willock is likely to be one of many first-team Arsenal players to leave the club this summer, with the Guardian reporting that as many as senior members of the squad could leave the north London team in the transfer window.
