Some Arsenal fans think Jack Wilshere has just sent Bukayo Saka a warning
A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Jack Wilshere’s Daily Mail interview in which he regretted not resting as often as his physios urged him to.
The 29-year-old came through the ranks at the Emirates Stadium and was tipped to become a superstar after breaking into Arsene Wenger’s Gunners team aged just 16.
To this day, Wilshere’s performance against Barcelona in 2011, a teenager getting the better of the legendary Xavi and Andres Iniesta in midfield, is talked about in glowing terms.

Sadly for Wilshere, he suffered a succession of injuries and ended up making just 198 appearances in 10 years at Arsenal before joining West Ham on a free transfer in 2018.
He is currently with Bournemouth in the Championship after being released by West Ham in October, and has made eight appearances for the Cherries so far.
Speaking to Jamie Redknapp, Wilshere admits he wishes he had managed his fitness better.
“I remember having conversations with the physios in my first year in the Arsenal team. They were like: ‘Look, you’re playing a lot…’ I told them: ‘I want to play.’
“I was living the dream. I was 19, playing for Arsenal. We were challenging for the Premier League, in the Champions League. No one was going to tell me I needed a rest.
“That’s one of my biggest regrets – I wish I’d listened to physios a little more, learned more about my body.”
In wake of that interview, some Arsenal fans are worrying that Bukayo Saka is currently being pushed too hard and playing too many games.
This season, he has made 31 appearances, clocking up close to 2,500 minutes of game time – or just over 41 hours – across all competitions.
Here is what some Gunners supporters have been saying on social media:

Shouldn’t have been his decision. Poor management of a kid. Arsenal need to learn from this with Saka and ESR
