Some Arsenal fans say 22-year-old looked brilliant in training today
Some Arsenal fans have been praising Eddie Nketiah after seeing him in training-ground action today.
With the international break coming to an end, the Gunners‘ upcoming Premier League fixture is on the horizon.
Arsenal face Norwich at the Emirates on Saturday in what has sadly become an early-season relegation six-pointer.
Mikel Arteta has been putting his charges – those not on international duty – through their paces on the training ground.
One of those is Eddie Nketiah, who was seemingly close to leaving Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
However, talks with Crystal Palace broke down, so the 22-year-old remains in north London, with his contract expiring next year.
Arsenal’s latest training montage, shared on their socials on Wednesday, shows Nketiah working hard and looking sharp.
And some Arsenal fans praised the England Under-21 star for his efforts:
Nketiah looks really sharp and hungry in training, glad to see his failed move to Crystal Palace hasn't affected his attitude 👌🏿pic.twitter.com/Nn1devpL6N— Arsenal Presser (@APresserV2) September 8, 2021

I genuinely rate Eddie Nketiah. He needs some goals to boost his confidence but that man can play.— Canon Fodder (@CannonFodder99) September 8, 2021
Hopefully he gets some minutes against Norwich and Wimbledon.
