Arsenal have been credited with an interest in Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
RMC Sport claim Gunners boss Unai Emery is a fan of the Frenchman, having seen him up close during his time as Paris Saint-Germain manager.
Bakayoko spent last season on loan at AC Milan after a difficult first season at Stamford Bridge following a £40 million switch from AS Monaco (BBC Sport).
New Blues boss Frank Lampard will be taking a look at Bakayoko during the club’s pre-season, and talks about his future will apparently commence when they return to London from Dublin.
The 24-year-old is wanted back by Milan, and Manchester United are also keen on the midfielder enforcer.
Arsenal fans react
The reaction to Arsenal’s reported interest in Bakayoko has been greeted with a mixed response.
Some are dead against the club moving for a player who really struggled in first season with Chelsea.
But a number of fans would seemingly be willing to give him a chance due to his brilliant form at AS Monaco, and also his impressive showing at San Siro last term:
Oh god no please no
