Some Arsenal fans have reacted to reports the club are considering a move for RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano.
ESPN FC have reported their sources have told them the Gunners are keen on the young Frenchman, who has impressed since moving to the Bundesliga in January 2017.

Upamecano, who did struggle slightly with injury in 2018/19, is a highly promising youngster who has already represented the France U21s.
He has been linked with a number of big sides over the past year or so.
Leipzig apparently want to tie him down to a new contract, but would also be open to a sale if the right offer came in.
Arsenal’s interest in the player may now be in vain after they were beaten 4-1 by Chelsea in the Europa League final.

Unai Emery’s team needed to win to secure Champions League football and extra finances to boost their summer transfer budget.
Upamecano will likely be too expensive now, which would be a shame because Arsenal are in desperate need of reinforcements at the back.
