Arsenal have apparently bid €60 million/£55 million for RB Leipzig youngster Dayot Upamecano.
German outlet Bild have claimed the Gunners have now made their move for the promising Frenchman, having recently been loosely linked.

The Gunners are attempting to strengthen their defensive options before Thursday’s transfer deadline, with Kieran Tierney of Celtic being heavily linked.
It has been a frustrating summer so far in terms of defensive recruits. William Saliba has signed, but will not join up until 2020/21.
Arsenal’s bid for Upamecano comes after the 20-year-old enjoyed a superb season with Leipzig, a team that finished the 2018/19 season with the best defence in the Bundesliga.

The starlet impressed with his ball-playing ability and general solidity alongside Ibrahima Konate, another exciting young French talent.
Arsenal fans react
With just a few days remaining until the window shuts, there is clamour amongst the Arsenal faithful to see immediate defensive reinforcements.
And many were extremely excited to learn of the club’s bid for Upamecano:
