Some Arsenal fans elated after Tierney and Lacazette return to full training

Some Arsenal fans were overjoyed after pictures of Kieran Tierney and Alexandre Lacazette in full training were posted by the club’s Twitter account.

The Scotsman and Frenchman have been out of action in recent weeks, with Tierney having suffered a knee injury whilst Lacazette pulled up with a hamstring problem.

Following the 23-year-old’s substitution during the loss to Liverpool, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta claimed that the former Celtic man would probably be out for the season. The same was said for Arsenal’s center-forward after he limped off during the 1-1 draw to Fulham a couple of weeks ago.

However, the duo have now returned to full training just days before the north London outfit take on Villarreal in the second leg of their Europa League semi-final.

The side will be looking to make a comeback having lost the first-leg 2-1 thanks to goals from Trigueros Munoz and Raul Albiol.

With the duo returning, the Gunners undoubtedly have their two best players back in the side ahead of their biggest game of the season.

Tierney has shown himself to be a bit of an assist king this season, while Lacazette’s all-round attacking play makes him a key figure in the final third.

Arsenal fans were over the moon after the images of the duo were released as they took to Twitter to react:
