Antoine Griezmann will leave Atletico Madrid this summer.
The French striker will bring to an end a five-year stint with the Spanish outfit, with the club informing supporters of his decision via Twitter.

They uploaded a video of the 28-year-old paying tribute to the fans. He said (quoted by BBC Sport): “It’s been an incredible five years. Thank you for everything.
“I wanted to tell the fans who have always given me a lot of love that I have taken the decision to leave, to see other things, to have other challenges.”

Griezmann has been tipped to join Barcelona this summer, with the Catalan giants rumoured to be wanting a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez, who is now 32.
Football fans far and wide began to speculate about Griezmann’s next move, and whether his transfer might trigger other deals.
