Some Arsenal fans air their frustration over £2.2 million Wenger signing

Arsenal rounded off the 2018/19 season with a 3-1 win over Burnley at Turf Moor.

The Gunners missed out on a top four finish by one point following a poor finish to the season, with bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur claiming the final spot.

It has been a turbulent season for Unai Emery, who is still trying to oversee a transition period following last summer’s departure of long-serving manager Arsene Wenger.

The Gunners will have one final chance to qualify for the Champions League in Baku when they take on Chelsea in the Europa League final.

That is a huge game for Arsenal and winning will likely mean more funds for Emery in the transfer market this summer.

At Turf Moor, Arsenal’s final lineup included regulars and fringe stars.

But the £2.2 million Wenger signing (The Daily Mail) only lasted 34 minutes before leaving the action with an injury.
