‘Solid as a brick house’: Some Arsenal fans laud Gabriel for Slavia Prague display

Arsenal delivered a lacklustre performance against Slavia Prague and suffered a late goal to deny them a crucial first leg lead.

The Gunners will be disappointed with the draw after Mikel Arteta opted to make the big call to drop Aubameyang from the off, although there was still no place for Gabriel Martinelli in the starting XI.

But while a 1-1 draw wasn’t anything to shout home about, including from Gabriel Magalhaes at the back.

The Brazilian defender has become a bit of an unsung hereo this term and once again showed his worth with a fine display, albeit capped with conceding late on – which he had a part in – to the disappoitnment of all Gunners.

Twitter, though, was still awash with fans who were quick to praise Gabriel for his latest showing, as Arsenal drew with Slavia Prague at The Emirates this evening.
