Solanke’s potential loan move to Crystal Palace works for all parties

Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke is out of favour under Jurgen Klopp this season and needs to seek a loan exit.

As per The Sun, Solanke is wanted by West Ham and Crystal Palace in the January window.

And sending Solanke to Crystal Palace is an arrangement which would work for all parties.

Crystal Palace have been poor in front of goal this season, carrying last season’s goal-shy form into this campaign.

With just eight goals in 12 games this season, they have become overly reliant on Wilfried Zaha as their main attacking threat.

Solanke would offer something different up front. What the 21-year-old lacks in experience, he makes up for in natural talent, pace and an eye for goal.

Liverpool should choose to send the England under-21 international to Selhust Park rather than West Ham.

With Marko Arnautovic as their main striker and Javier Hernandez and Andy Carroll in reserve, West Ham have more options up front if everyone is fit.

Solanke would be reliant on injuries to get playing time in East London, but he could be the key man at Crystal Palace.

And if he can prove his goal scoring prowess for 16th-place Crystal Palace, then Klopp has to consider him for the Liverpool first-team when he returns in the summer.
