‘So underrated’ – Newcastle fans react to Jonjo Shelvey’s performance against West Ham

Jonjo Shelvey delivered a brilliant performance for Newcastle and scored a goal of real quality as Steve Bruces’ men drew 2-2 with West Ham United and the Toon Army were loving him on Twitter.

Shelvey has quickly developed into one of the top players at St James’ Park in the last few seasons.

He is often the player the Magpies look too for a bit of quality and, today, he showed just why he is that man with a sublime piece of play to level the game just after the Hammers had gone in front.

The former Charlton man, who has England honours, often flies under the radar somewhat when it comes to the top Premier League midfielders but the Toon Army were quick to praise their man today.

After helping Newcastle to another vital point, it seems that some in the northeast believe Shelvey is deserving of better, whether that be in terms of teammates or a move.
