Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur has provided an honest assessment of his time at Spurs so far.
The Tottenham January signing believes he still has to do “so much more”, and is eager to keep improving.
Bentancur joined Spurs on transfer deadline day a month ago.

According to Sky Sports, the deal for the 24-year-old could cost Tottenham £21.5million in total.
Spurs will be reportedly paying Juve £15.8million up front for Bentancur, with £5.7million due in potential add-ons.
Bentancur penned a four-and-a-half-year deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, taking him to the summer of 2026.
To date, the Uruguay international has made five appearances for Spurs and has done well for the most part.
Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, Bentancur spoke about the differences between Serie A and Premier League football.
“Without doubt there is a difference in the pace of the game and physicality,” Gianluca Di Marzio quotes him as saying.
“The referees don’t blow the whistle very much, so you get to play more without interruptions.
“I am doing fairly well, but there’s still so much more I have to do.
“My objective is to improve day by day, give my best, help my teammates and take this side to the top four for Champions League qualification.”
“It was surprising”
Bentancur also admitted that moving to Tottenham was not part of his plans, but he’s happy to have joined.
“It all happened when I was on international duty, so I didn’t expect any of this,” he added.
“It was surprising, but I am happy to be here.”
Bentancur is currently on the sidelines due to an injury he picked up against Burnley in midweek.
“Unfortunately he’s not available for tomorrow’s game because he had a problem in his ankle,” said Antonio Conte.
“I don’t think this is a serious problem. And I hope to see him in the team very soon but for sure tomorrow he’s not available.”
