‘So much creativity’: Some Spurs fans want ‘sensational’ £8k-a-week ace

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have called for Spurs to look into signing Emiliano Buendia after his club was officially relegated from the Premier League on Saturday.

The 23-year-old joined Norwich City for a reported £1.5million fee ahead of the 2018-19 season, becoming Daniel Farke’s first summer signing that year.

Buendia has been nothing short of sensational for the East Anglians, tearing the Championship apart last season with eight goals, 12 assists and a lot of high-calibre football.

The Argentine has done well in the Premier League, claiming one goal and seven assists, but has been unable to prevent his side from making a swift return to the Championship.

On Saturday, Norwich hosted West Ham at Carrow Road and ended up on the receiving end of a 4-0 thumping, with Michail Antonio netting four goals.

With so much talent in the Canaries ranks, this summer could well see their squad picked apart, and quite a few Spurs fans like the look of the £8,000-a-week maestro.
