‘So much better than Lamela’ – Tottenham fans drool over Marcus Edwards’ performance

Tottenham Hotspur starlet Marcus Edwards has found his feet in the Netherlands and is hitting top form.

Edwards is on loan at Excelsior but had a slow start to life in the Eredivisie. However, in recent weeks, Edwards has stepped up his game and is finally starting to show his potential.

The 20-year-old operates as an attacking midfielder and has caught the eye in recent weeks.

But he backed up his promise with some end product at the weekend, inspiring Excelsior to a comeback victory over FC Emmen.

With his side trailing 1-0, Edwards scored an impressive individual goal to level things up on 62 minutes.

And just five minutes later, Excelsior were ahead. Edwards provided the assist as Dennis Eckert scored the goal.

Tottenham fans were awestruck by highlights of the game and took to social media to share their opinions on his latest display.

Many Spurs supporters believe the England youth international has a big future in North London if he can continue to improve at this rate.
