‘So happy with that’, ‘nightmare’: Some Spurs fans give their thoughts as Premier League fixtures revealed

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have given their thoughts on Twitter after Spurs published the club’s Premier League 2020-21 fixtures on Thursday morning.

Jose Mourinho’s charges begin the new campaign on Saturday 12 September with a game against Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham then travel away to Southampton the following Saturday before wrapping up the month with a home fixture against Newcastle United.

October 3 sees Spurs travel to Manchester United in the first clash against top-four opposition, while the first North London derby of the season takes place on December 5 at N17.

The return fixture against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium takes place on March 13, while the season finale will be away at Leicester City on May 23.

Mourinho will be hoping to build on a promising end to last season, which saw Spurs clinch a spot in the Europa League.

Tottenham will also have to navigate fixture congestion early on due to fixtures in the league, Europe, plus the League Cup.

In wake of current events, fans will not be able to attend games to begin with, though discussions continue over a gradual return of spectators to stadiums.
