A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to praise Maksim Paskotsi’s display for Spurs Under-18s today.

The 17-year-old centre-back confirmed earlier this week on Instagram that he had penned a contract with Tottenham following his switch from Estonia’s Flora Tallinn.

Despite not turning 18 until next March, Paskotsi has already made two senior appearances for Flora, and has been a regular in the reigning Estonian champions’ matchday squad.

The teenager was handed his debut for Tottenham’s U18s in today’s league meeting with Fulham, starting against the West Londoners.

Paskotsi’s bow could hardly have gone better, helping his side to a clean sheet and scoring a “perfect volley” to cap off a stunning 3-0 win.

Numerous Spurs supporters were pleased to see the academy newcomer shine on his debut and congratulated him on social media:

The result saw Tottenham’s youngsters go up to second in the U18 Premier League table.
