Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to react after watching a 20-second video of Gareth Southgate and Tottenham’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
What’s the story?
Well, after England’s 2-1 win over Denmark at Wembley on Wednesday, Southgate was spotted consoling the Danes.
The footage shows the Three Lions boss hugging Simon Kjær, who gives him an appreciative nod of the head.
Southgate then moves on to Hojbjerg, where the £15m Tottenham man also shows his appreciation with a hug and a smile.
Of course, it’s standard procedure for a manager to shake hands after a game.
However, you can clearly see the sincerity in Southgate’s actions as he goes the extra mile to hug and chat with the losing side.
What did Gary Lineker think?

After watching the ‘lovely’ footage posted by journalist Tom Chivers, Lineker hailed Southgate for his actions.
You can see what the BBC Match of the Day host tweeted below.
It is nice to have someone in charge who represents the nation so well.
Southgate always comes across as a genuine, caring manager, who has been banging all the right drums throughout the tournament.
He reacted superbly to hearing his players booed for taking the knee.

Southgate has also done exceptionally well with his players, ensuring everyone stays happy.
Even after being subbed on and subbed off in the same game, Jack Grealish had no issues with Southgate, which says it all.
Hopefully, we’ll see the 50-year-old knighted if success arrives on Sunday.
