'So be it': Arsenal fans react as Folarin Balogun nears exit door

Arsenal fans have been reacting on Twitter to the latest update on Folarin Balogun, an update which does not make good reading for the Gunners.

The Guardian claims that three clubs are now serious contenders to land Balogun, who has yet to sign a new deal with the Gunners but remains part of Mikel Arteta’s plans.

Talks in midweek intensified about Balogun, when reports claimed he had agreed a deal with RB Leipzig. However, nothing concrete has come of that talk yet and Balogun, for now, remains a Gunner.

But the latest report from the Guardian has got Arsenal fans talking on social media again. And instead of being fuming like they were last week, there seems an element of what will be will be now among some fans.

I’d still be surprised if any of those clubs offer him wages that Arsenal are offering. I think it’s fair to say Arsenal also do promote youth. There is no guarantee he walks into any of those first teams of who he’s talking to.
