Smith Rowe says Kieran Tierney is the best trainer in the Arsenal squad
Emile Smith Rowe has told Goal that Kieran Tierney is the best trainer in the Arsenal squad, with the left-back always giving everything at London Colney.
Arsenal fans will not be at all surprised to hear that Tierney is colossal in training. The Scotland international has been a fan favourite throughout his time in North London.
On the pitch, he rarely produces a sub-standard performance. In fact, he is one of the players who sets the example for Mikel Arteta’s side.
But he is also one of the players fans can relate to. He appears to have no ego whatsoever. And he is someone who seems to appreciate just how special the opportunity he has is.
Smith Rowe was asked to name the best player in training. And the academy graduate picked out the 25-year-old as the one who impresses him the most.
“Yeah I’m going to give it back to Kieran Tierney just because he’s got so much energy every training session. He’s always putting in 100 percent. And I feel like that gives the other players more confidence and just helps everyone all the time,” he told Goal.
Kieran Tierney is the best trainer in the Arsenal squad
Having players such as Tierney in the squad is so important for a club like Arsenal. They obviously have a number of superstars who grab many of the headlines.
Tierney is a player who will absolutely push anyone around him. It turns out that he is very gifted technically too. But you get the impression that he was always going to find a way to be a top-level professional footballer regardless of how much ability he had.
Unfortunately, injury has prevented him realising that full potential so far. He has not yet started a single game for the Gunners this season.
But clearly, he is someone who will have a big impact at Arsenal whether he is featuring on match day or not.
