Clinton Morrison feels Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Oliver Skipp really struggled against Bournemouth today.
Oliver Skipp was initially named amongst the substitutes on Sunday afternoon but was called into action in the first half.
Pape Matar Sarr picked up an injury shortly after firing Tottenham into a 1-0 lead with an exceptional finish.
Spurs had enjoyed a decent start to the game but they struggled after the Senegal international came off with an injury.
And Clinton Morrison wasn’t impressed with Skipp’s display in the first half.

Morrison says Skipp struggled against Bournemouth
Speaking on Sky Sports News, Morrison claimed Skipp struggled to get up to the pace of the game after replacing Sarr.
“It’s Skipp again,” he said. “He hasn’t got up to the pace of it in midfield.
“He loses the ball and it’s down that left-hand side, Sinisterra and Ouattara are causing Pedro Porro a lot of problems.
“He went to the box, cut it back and they come again. Kluivert has a shot and it goes wide.”

Skipp doesn’t exactly seem like a natural fit for Postecoglou’s style of play and he did fail to impress after replacing Sarr, particularly in the first half.
The 23-year-old certainly doesn’t lack when it comes to his work-rate and energy off the ball. But his quality on the ball leaves a lot to be desired.
Nevertheless, he did make improvements in the second period and offered more of a calming presence in midfield.
Spurs certainly rode their luck in the first half today as Bournemouth were wasteful in front of goal.
Ange Postecoglou’s side weathered the storm in the opening period though and managed to get through to halftime with their 1-0 lead intact.
Heung-Min Son and Richarlison netted in the second half against the run of play to put the game out of reach. But Alex Scott came off the bench to net what turned out to be a consolation goal for the Cherries.
