Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has praised Nottingham Forest winger Joe Lolley after his weekend brace against Luton Town.
Prutton talked up Lolley ahead of Forest’s clash with Reading tonight and praised the way he is now back on top form once again.
He said: “Nottingham Forest are in great form right now. Joe Lolley looks to have hit top speed to help support Lewis Grabban and they look solid at the back too. They could close the gap on West Brom and Leeds.”
Lolley was on fire last season but has stuttered at times this season but Forest have the top two in their sights and that looks to have reinvigorated the winger.
TBR’s View – Race for the top two is on and Lolley could be as important as anyone
There was a point this season where it looked like West Brom and Leeds had automatic promotion signed, sealed and delivered.
But their form has deteriorated and given clubs such as Forest a real chance of getting into the top two, but they’ll need their top performers firing if they are to take full advantage.
Lolley is one of them and he could be as important as any player in the league if he keeps this form up.
