Tottenham helped themselves to another huge three points with a big win at Aston Villa, thanks to a clinical display from a number of their top players.

Harry Kane was the assist king yet again, while Heung-Min Son scored a hat-trick and Dejan Kulusevski once again got in on the act to show what he’s all about. It was a win which put Spurs three ahead of Arsenal in the race for the top four, which has seen a momentus swing in recent weeks.

For Tottenham and their manager, Antonio Conte, there was plenty to admire again. And one of the big things for onlookers to purr at was the performance of Kane. In particular, the way he set up Son for the third goal. Indeed, it was something that Sky Sports commentator Andy Hinchcliffe thought was ‘sensational’.

“He (Son) knows that Kane has seen him. He’s not going to take it down, he’s going to flick it on. It’s sensational. Not just the ball he flicked on. The weight of the flick on. He doesn’t have to change stride, he can decide how he’s going to finish it, Son,” Hinchcliffe raved on Sky.

Kane didn’t get on the score sheet for the second week running but Spurs have scored nine goals in those games.

TBR’s View: Kane Is Like A New Player Under Conte

The form Kane is showing is outstanding and goes to show why Man City were so determined to try and sign him last summer.

If he can keep this up, even without scoring goals, then Tottenham are in a good place. He’s suddenly gone from master goalscorer to all-round creator. It’s quite brilliant to watch, really.

Conte has done something with this Spurs squad no one has managed for some time. The top four beckons, and Kane is key to that objective being achieved.
