Liverpool are currently flying high in both the Premier League and the Champions League this season.
The Reds are at the top of the Premier League table, with closest contenders Arsenal six points behind them.
Liverpool also qualified for the next round of the Champions League at the top of the table and will be among the favourites to go all the way.
The Reds have done all this despite a fairly quiet transfer window in which only Federico Chiesa joined the club and went into the squad.
Likewise, Liverpool are yet to sign anyone in the January transfer window, with just a couple of loan moves away from Anfield on the cards.
Now, with deadline day now approaching its final stages, Sky Sports journalist Vinny O’Connor has shared the latest on the club’s situation ahead of the window shutting.

Vinny O’Connor says Liverpool transfer deadline day will be ‘quiet’
O’Connor, speaking on Sky Sports News, said he expects a “quiet day” at the AXA Training Centre, hinting at no signings all winter.
He reminded fans of how Arne Slot he’d only add to his squad this month if a long-term target became available, which has not happened.
However, O’Connor hinted that a quiet winter window could lead to a busy window in the summer.
“It is going to be a quiet day here with nothing like the drama in 2011,” said O’Connor.

“If you look at the picture as a whole, Arne Slot has been telling everyone that he was not really looking to add to his squad during this window unless a long-term target became available and that clearly has not happened.
“And if Liverpool do not do anything in this window, it does strengthen their hand in the summer transfer window when they will know more about the rebuild they need to do with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Mo Salah’s contracts all still unresolved.
“Clearly in terms of outgoings today, the one that stands out is Jayden Danns to Sunderland on loan until the end of the season.”
What happened at Liverpool in January 2011
Transfer deadline day in January 2011 was a particularly dramatic one for Liverpool, who bid farewell to an iconic striker and welcomed two more forwards.
Liverpool brought Andy Carroll in from Newcastle United for £35million as a replacement for Fernando Torres, who went to Chelsea for £50million.
The Reds then swooped to sign Luis Suarez from Ajax in a £22.7million move, giving Kenny Dalglish two new strikers to work with.
