Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth has made a ‘big’ claim about Arsenal’s plans for the summer transfer window.
Arsenal have pulled off some transformative signings in recent years which have pushed Mikel Arteta’s side to the top end of the Premier League.
Most recently, the Gunners made a statement signing by landing Declan Rice for £105 million last summer.
It’s fair to say that Rice has had the desired impact at the Emirates Stadium so far, with Arsenal currently top of the league.

Arteta seems to have found the right balance in his side of late as Kai Havertz is also beginning to find his feet after making the £65 million switch to north London last summer.
Arsenal opted against bolstering their squad in January but according to Dharmesh Sheth, they are set to go ‘big’ in the next transfer window.
Arsenal will be ‘going big’ in summer transfer window
Speaking to GiveMeSport, Sheth discussed Arsenal’s plans for the summer.
“The pressure on players coming through the academy is enormous because clubs almost want instant success,” the Sky journalist said. “The recruitment team and the manager then decide how to blood these players.
“Nwaneri, who made his debut in 2022, is a player they consider to have a big future at Arsenal. Still, they’ve got to be careful in his development and blood him in very slowly so that he can integrate with the first team before putting all that pressure on him.
“So, I think Arsenal will be excited with what they have, but alongside that, make no mistake, they’ll be going big in the market as well.”

Victor Osimhen to Arsenal?
With claims that Arsenal are set for a busy summer window, they have also been heavily linked with a move for Napoli star Victor Osimhen.
It’s no secret that Arteta is lacking a prolific goalscorer and it was claimed just yesterday that Arsenal are willing to pay £77 million to land Osimhen.
Indeed, the striker’s agents have also reportedly visited London Colney as the Gunners step up their search for a new talisman.
Arsenal fans will undoubtedly be excited by the club’s apparent plans to go big this summer.
It would appear that Arteta isn’t resting on his laurels, despite another encouraging campaign in north London.
