Sunderland striker Charlie Wyke has been named in Whoscored’s League One Team of the Season so far.
The Black Cats forward has scored 26 goals for Lee Johnson’s side in all competitions this season, including 22 in the league.
In the 15 league matches he played prior to Johnson’s appointment at the start of December, Wyke scored five goals.

Since the new manager arrived at the Stadium of Light, however, Wyke has registered a staggering 17 goals in the league.
The 28-year-old’s efforts have helped Sunderland up to third in the table, five points behind Hull, but with two games in hand on the leaders.
As a result, it’s not surprising to see Wyke make the cut, and Martin Laurence of Whoscored spoke of how well he’s done under Johnson.
“The joint-top scorer in the division, Wyke’s 22 goals have put Sunderland in a prime position to claim an automatic promotion spot under Lee Johnson,” Laurence wrote on Sky Sports.
“It’s the new manager that has really managed to get the best from the 28-year-old, with 17 of said strikes coming in 19 league appearances since Johnson’s appointment.
“The Black Cats have really maximised the aerial threat Wyke poses in that time, with half of his league goals this season coming with his head.”
Sunderland are next in action on Saturday with a League One trip to Bristol Rovers.
