Sky reporter shares how much Tottenham are going to have to pay to sign Adama Traore from Wolves
Dharmesh Sheth has said on Sky Sports that Wolves would want over £45 million from Tottenham Hotspur to sign Adama Traore this summer.
Big money wanted
Traore has been linked heavily with Tottenham in the past days, although it is thought that Spurs are interested in signing him on loan initially.
Tottenham would like to do a deal with an option to buy him after a season.
However, Sheth says that Wolves won’t even consider those sorts of offers.
He said: “They would want more than what they received from Liverpool, which was a deal worth £45 million.

“Now Traore has two years left on his Wolves contract, there is an improved contract offer on the table and discussions over a new contract as long as 10 months ago.
“Wolves do want to keep him, but if they are to sell him, it is going to take a lot more than a loan with an option to even bring them to the table.”
Risky move
For over £45 million, Traore starts to become a rather risky signing.
While he does have major assets in his strength, pace and dribbling ability – there are question marks over his final ball.
He is not the most reliable in the final third and although there is a feeling he could thrive with the likes of Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son around him, Spurs would be putting a lot of faith into Traore if they were to sign him at that price.
Traore would instantly become one of Spurs’ most expensive ever signings, and in a window when they have already spent big on Cristian Romero – it remains to be seen whether they could afford such a deal.
