Dharmesh Sheth has told Sky Sports News that Hector Bellerin has no desire to extend his contract at Arsenal.
No new contract
Arsenal were initially set to sell Bellerin this summer, but they have struggled to find sides who are willing to pay their £20 million asking price for the right-back (CBS).
Since then, there have been suggestions that Arsenal will look to tie down the right-back on a longer-term deal in the Guardian.
That came as a shock to many, as Bellerin had slipped down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium last term.
However, Sheth says that Arsenal are not willing to give him a new deal, and even if the player was offered one, it is unlikely that he would sign it.
“Hector Bellerin is one we have been speaking about for the last four or five weeks,” he said.
“There was a time in this window when it looked like it was nailed on he was going to go to Inter Milan, now all of their financial problems have come to the fore it is going to be very difficult to do a deal for Hector Bellerin, unless they can come up with a loan with an option.
“As it stands his contract is up in 2023 and there is no will from the Arsenal side or from Bellerin’s side to extend that contract.
“So Arsenal are in danger again of Bellerin entering the final year of his contract.”

Concerning?
The latest update appears concerning for Arsenal, as it may limit the value they can get for the Spaniard.
Arsenal need to raise money for their own planned additions through player sales this summer, and Bellerin looked one of their more valuable assets.
However, finding buyers has been very difficult – with Arsenal unable to shift out the volume of players that they had hoped so far.
That has impact on Arsenal’s ability to do business, with Ben White, Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga their only additions so far this summer.
