Kris Boyd has raved about the quality of Rangers attacker Ryan Kent, who is a player linked with Premier League club Leeds ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
Kent, 24, has been an integral part of the Gers title-winning league season in Scotland.
The English speedster is a left-winger with incredible pace, trickery and composure around the opponent’s 18-yard box.
He’s scored 12 goals and set up 13 assists in all competitions this season.
According to the Scottish Sun earlier this month, Kent’s form with Rangers has seen Yorkshire club Leeds reignite interest in him.
The report states that Lees want to make a £15million move for him this summer, as well as adding that they’ve previously failed twice in the past to sign him.
Sky Sports pundit Boyd has given a glowing verdict on Kent after including him in his Scottish Premiership Team of the Season.
“Then there’s Ryan Kent who is phenomenal – he gets you off your seat. His numbers have increased season after season. Even if the team are not at the level we saw at the start of the campaign, he is still a threat. He is so comfortable with the ball – it is like has superglue in his boots!” Boyd told Sky Sports.

TBR’s View:
Kent is currently one of the most technically players in the Scottish division, so claiming he’s got “superglue in his boots” is spot on for those that have watched him play regularly at Ibrox.
If Leeds can’t re-sign on-loan wide man Jack Harrison again from Manchester City next season, there is going to be a huge void in the squad on the left wing.
Kent would certainly help plug that hole and £15million would represent good business for him in this market.
As well as tormenting defences in Scotland, he also showed signs of his quality on the European stage with some dazzling individual performances.
He’s got the kind of energy, skill and work rate that would make him a favourite at Elland Road.
