Sky provide James Rodriguez update live on air
James Rodriguez’s future at Everton is up in the air.
The Colombian is yet to feature for the Toffees since Rafa Benitez was appointed at Goodison Park.
Now it seems that he’ll never play for Everton under Benitez.
According to Sky Sports, who reported it live on air, Rodrigues in talks with a club in Qatar.

That would see an end to the 30-year-old’s time on Merseyside after just one full season.
The only reason James ever made the move to the club was because of the influence of former manager Carlo Ancelotti.
The Italian returned to coach Real Madrid over the summer, though, leaving Rodriguez at Everton.
In 26 games for the club last season the Colombian scored six goals and assisted a further nine (Transfermarkt).
It seems although Rodriguez wants nothing to do with Everton anymore.
A move to Qatar would likely see him make a similar out of money, if not more, than he’s currently earning at Everton.
A lot of the fans will be keen to just see the back of the the player now.
Benitez has done a great job so far this season in getting the best out of his players.
The likes of Andros Townsend and Demarai Gray have been incredible for the Toffees so far this season.
So long as Benitez can keep the strong displays coming, with the weekend defeat to Aston Villa hopefully just a blip, the fans will quickly forget James.
All that the fans will be keen to see now is the Colombian bring in some sort of transfer fee so they can make a profit on the midfielder.
