A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to rejoice in the club’s fitness update on Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
The Tottenham captain has missed his side’s last two games due to a groin injury but the Spurs social media channel confirmed on Friday that he has returned to training with the squad.
Jose Mourinho, speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Tottenham’s Premier League trip to Burnley tomorrow, told Football London: “Decision to be made after training.

“Training is at three, decision to be made after. If you ask whether I am expecting him to play I say yes but I cannot confirm.”
Things haven’t been going well for Tottenham in recent weeks, to put it mildly, so Lloris’ return to training and potentially to first-team action has proven a huge boost for the Spurs fanbase.
Here is how some Tottenham fans reacted to the update on social media:
Lloris has been unfortunate with injuries this season, having previously had to recuperate from a dislocated elbow which kept him out of action from early October until late January.
Tottenham are in the midst of an injury crisis up front, with both Harry Kane and Son Heung-min out of action, while Moussa Sissoko is also sidelined, the Frenchman recovering from a knee injury.
Spurs have lost their last four games in a row in all competitions and will be desperate to get some points on board at Turf Moor, five points separating the North Londoners from fourth-placed Chelsea.
