Tottenham Hotspur sold Cameron Carter-Vickers this summers after six years on the books at Spurs.

During his time at Tottenham, the 24-year-old developed into a superb defender.

However, Spurs only gave him five competitive first-team outings.

Carter-Vickers spent most of his time on Tottenham’s books out on loan.

He took in stints at a number of clubs in the English Football League before linking up with Celtic last summer.

Carter-Vickers impressed on loan at Parkhead, helping the Hoops win the 2021-22 Scottish Premiership title.

And this summer, Tottenham opted to sell him to Celtic for a reported £6.3million.

While Carter-Vickers may have not been given much of a chance at Spurs, he’s clearly loving life in green and white.

Indeed, one of his teammates has suggested that the former Tottenham man is the toughest teammate he’s up against in training.

A fan asked Celtic winger Jota the question, to which he replied: “That is simple – My answer is Cameron Carter-Vickers!”

While Carter-Vickers may have not been able to make it at Spurs, it’s great to see him become established elsewhere.

And at Celtic, he’ll no doubt win plenty of trophies and get the chance in the Champions League, so good on him.
