Aston Villa fans have been debating who should be their next penalty taker today, with Ollie Watkins boasting a somewhat woeful record from the spot.

The former Brentford striker missed against West Ham to make it four misses from six now. And at £33m, it’s not something the Villa striker will want to become known for in the game.

The likes of Jack Grealish have taken them before. However, the Villa skipper himself has fallen foul, smashing the crossbar against Sheffield United last season.

Villa fans, then, have been on Twitter today discussing who should be the next taker, prompted by a question by Birmingham Live. And while there’s some support for Watkins to remain on duty, there are calls for other players, too, including Grealish.
