Everton striker Cenk Tosun scored twice for Turkey to help his country to a 4-0 win over Moldova. And it might have proved a point to Marco Silva.
Tosun matched his Premier League goal tally for the season in just one match for Turkey as they thrashed Moldova.
The Toffees striker popped up in the box to poke home and make it 2-0 before his header from a corner gave Turkey a 3-0 lead.
But Silva has been reluctant to use Tosun this season. Sam Allardyce brought Tosun to Goodison Park in a big money move but he has been underwhelming.
With just eight goals in 14 months on Merseyside, Tosun is not justifying the reported £27m fee that Everton splashed on the ex-Besiktas forward (BBC Sport).

Tosun has been sparingly used this season with Silva preferring to deploy Richarlison or Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the centre-forward role.
And with just nine Premier League starts to his name this season, Tosun’s future at Everton is in doubt.
But his brace against Moldova might give him confidence. Admittedly, the opposition was weak but Tosun needs to rediscover his goal scoring touch and he might just have done that.
Here are what Everton and Turkey fans think about Tosun’s latest performance and his Everton situation.
