According to a report by talkSPORT, Leeds United are keen on two Queens Park Rangers players. The Whites could move for attacking midfield duo Luke Freeman and Eberechi Eze in the summer transfer window.
Both players have produced exciting moments for QPR this season in an up-and-down campaign for the West London outfit.
Freeman scored the winner against Leeds recently and that was his eighth goal of the season. The left-footed 26-year-old also has four assists to his name.
Eze is an England under-20 international who Leeds have a “tentative interest” in. The 20-year-old’s tally of four goals and three assists is exciting for such a young player.
And the arrival of one or both of these QPR players could help cushion the blow of losing Samu Saiz this summer. The Spaniard is on loan at Getafe and despite his struggles, he is expected to complete a permanent move to La Liga.
Moreover, there are no guarantees that loan duo Izzy Brown and Jack Harrison will still be at Elland Road next season.
Manchester City’s Harrison has become a regular in this Leeds side but Chelsea’s Brown has struggled for game time due to injuries.
Leeds could be forced to look at alternative attacking midfielders this summer. And Freeman or Eze could be their long-term replacement for Spain-bound Saiz.
