Everton came face to face with one of their summer transfer targets in the Premier League clash against Crystal Palace yesterday.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (linked by The Sun in February) was in action at right-back for Crystal Palace’s home game against Everton.

Many Everton fans saw this as an audition for the 21-year-old, who has been touted as Seamus Coleman’s long-term replacement.

And his performance against the Toffees certainly got fans talking on social media. With both his defending and attacking, Wan-Bissaka’s quality was evident.

Wan-Bissaka won one aerial duel, made one tackle, one block, four interceptions and a staggering eight clearances (Who Scored).

In addition, he completed six dribbles – more than anyone else on the pitch – to showcase his attacking threat.

Everton fans took to social media to discuss Wan-Bissaka’s performance. Having seen his ability firsthand, many are calling for a summer move.

Here are several tweets from Everton fans discussing Wan-Bissaka’s display and a potential move to Goodison Park.
