Tottenham face a tricky situation regarding their team selection in the upcoming games, as they could be without Heung-Min Son for the next five fixtures due to the Asian Cup and Harry Kane is sidelined until March with injury.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino needs to try find a way to fill the void left at striker and fringe player Fernando Llorente is the only senior alternative.
Versatile Brazilian attacker Lucas Moura could also drop into the centre-forward role, but the north London club could really do with an extra option.
Spurs need to consolidate their position in the top four of the Premier League and already have one foot in the final of the Carabao Cup after beating Chelsea 1-0 in a semi-final first leg.
With a striker clearly required at Spurs, should they consider free agent Giuseppe Rossi?

Rossi is an experienced centre-forward that has had a successful career so far and his best stints have come in Spanish football.
The left-footed attacker netted 81 times in 190 games for Villarreal, but has seen several injuries halt him.
He’s currently a free agent without a club and Manchester United have confirmed that he’s training with them right now to build up his fitness, but they don’t intend to sign him.
Rossi is a talented individual that got his first senior break at Manchester United when he was a youngster and has great European pedigree.
Signing the Italian would be a no-brainer for Spurs if he was guaranteed to be fit, but he’s not had a decent season since the 2016/17 campaign and injuries have to be a major concern.
But Spurs’ reluctance to spend big money may work against Pochettino and taking a gamble on Rossi could be a good way to find competition for Llorente during Kane’s absence.
